It all begun in August 1999. That day I was coming back home from our church’s office, I was broken and devastated, dissatisfied with my Christian life. Suddenly the Holy Spirit addressed me. He said: “Sergey, I want you to allot some special time for everyday communication with Me”. And I understood that God wants to either hear my incessant prayers or He wants me to find special time only for Him.
That very August day I understood the reason of my spiritual drought. I began to spend time with the Lord, everyday in the early morning, and I have been doing so for seven years already.
During these years I have spent plenty of hours with Jesus in private and changed to an absolutely different man – with new thinking, character, motives and values. Now, when coming across one or another problem I had used to come into collision with before, I am surprised at my reaction to things happening around me now – it became totally different. I know how to behave in the right way, but I have received the grace to behave this very way, and not another. Sanctity came into my life, I hate sin. My love for God grew much - I became passionate for Him.
During this time, substantial changes happened to my family life, in relationship with my wife. We used to quarrel all the time, we lacked understanding, and moreover – I wished I’d never married. But in my Secret place I understood what qualities a father and a husband should posses. I started to buy gifts and set aside time for my wife, I became a loving father for my children.
My serving rose to be successful and fruitful. I started to spend more and more time in my Secret place (at least 5 hours a day), sometimes I stayed there for 24 hours! And my life was strikingly changing!
In the first year of communication with my Father, He taught me how to create personal relationship with Him, He told me much about its value, how to obtain constancy in my prayerful life. In the summer of 2000 I heard God’s call to go to different churches and share about the experience that the Holy Spirit had taught me.
I began to teach people in Bible schools and hold meetings, conferences, and seminars on “Personal relationship with God”. Due to my book, audiocassettes, and CD’s with sermons thousands of lives are being changed – in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Armenia, and Latvia. Nowadays this doctrine is well known abroad, you can find records in India, America, China, Germany, France, Belgium, Spain, England, Poland and many other countries. Thus the Holy Spirit began the Movement of God seekers all over the world.
